This final chapter contains contributions that embody the visions and hopes of the contributors for their communities in such areas as education, economic development, politics, and health. Even more than their hopes for the future, however, the contributors, who are each personally involved in the advancement of the tribal initiatives that they write about, offer some examples of the work that has already been done in each of these areas. They bring an important perspective to the strong leadership and savvy decision-making that has played a crucial role in tribal development across the region over the past few decades.
