Chesterfield Smith chaired the 1968 Constitution Revision Commission. By all accounts he was the driving force behind the Commission’s success. Thirty years later, he addressed the 1998 Constitution Revision Commission that was set to examine the 1968 version for possible further revision. This epilogue excerpts that speech.
