This chapter discusses the arduous struggle of the landless to make various Bolivian governments comply with the existing agrarian reform legislation in Bolivia. It also looks at the guarantee of the basic human rights of those struggling to effect agrarian reform and lays out the vision of agrarian reform its members aspire to. One of these is inspired by the principles of La Vía Campesina, which has its own twists, such as the emphasis on communal enterprises.
