“Educate”
Fabian activism can be embodied through the active verbs “educate” and “permeate”, and the former refers to direct and open attempts to bring on adherence to Fabian doctrine, while the latter accounts for more implicit efforts. Shaw was attributed with an inconsistent load of the educational efforts of the Fabian Society. The chapter draws attention specifically to evidence from speeches and articles. Focus is given not on the teachings of Shaw, but on his belief regarding effective teaching.
