This chapter is about music and musicians. The chapter describes the collaboration of the renowned Jewish musicians and their Muslim counterparts and fleshes out important illustrations of such interaction mainly in Tunisia, Iraq, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Whereas the previous chapter speaks about Arabic-Islamic songs enriching Hebrew poetry, this study turns to the influence of Jews on their non-Jewish milieu.
