Using Digital Tools to Build Afro-Latinx Connections and Futures
The epilogue recapitulates important themes in the previous chapters, arguing that the book as a whole suggests a broader approach to what it means to be human. By fighting to emerge from the invisibility to which they have been relegated, Afro-Latinx communities and individuals are helping to re-write histories across the continent, even as they continue to reassert longstanding claims. With lives firmly grounded in urban and rural communities to which they are committed, Afrodescendants across the Americas are creating digital connections to work toward a decolonized, intersectional, and posthuman future that leads to a more equitable future for all.
